During his childhood he had interest in computer programming. Even in his School, he built a program for his Dad’s office to help workers. He also built a music player named Synapse that used artificial intelligence to learn the user’s listening habits. Later Microsoft and AOL purchased the Synapse.
During his college days, he also created a tool to help students. On July 23, 2008, he announced Facebook Connect, a version of Facebook Platform for building social applications on other websites.
On October 24, 2007, Facebook Inc. sold a 1.6% stake to Microsoft Corp.
